Advanced Care Providers was developed in 2005 and has become a leader in medical staffing. Through the management and through our staff, our company strives to offer a dedicated and experienced team of professionals that allow Advanced Care Providers to be respected in the health care staffing community.
Michael Tonne and Debra Sanfilippo have been key planners in the organization and management of Advanced Care Providers. In addition to each having worked in the medical profession for over 20 years, both Debra and Michael have developed and managed other successful corporations.
Michael Tonne 
Mr. Tonne has 21 years of experience as a Physician Assistant and has practiced throughout the country. The Physician Assistant profession emphasizes a primary care background and with this, Mike has focused his practice on Emergency Medicine and Trauma. In addition to practicing as a PA, Mike has been instrumental in establishing the set up of new emergency departments as well as development of disaster plans for facilities. Mike’s responsibilities include new projects and facility management and recruitment and retention.
Mike is active with both state and national organizations including Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants, and National Association of Physician Recruiters. He is also a current member of the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board – Council on Physician Assistants.
Other involvements of Mr. Tonne include management of The Paul Bunyan Corporation, founder and president of Adverbs, Inc. and founder and president of In-Threads, Inc.
Mr. Tonne also serves as an active member of the ACP Executive Committee.
Debra Sanfilippo 
Ms. Sanfilippo has 29 years of experience as a Physician Assistant and has practiced throughout the country. The Physician Assistant profession emphasizes a primary care background and with this, Deb has focused her practice on Emergency Medicine, Cardiac and Transplant Surgery and Primary Care. In addition to practicing as a PA, Deb has been managing mid-level providers including Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners at large medical institutions. Deb’s responsibilities include staff and facility management and recruitment and retention.
Deb is active with both state and national organizations including Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants, and National Association of Physician Recruiters. She is the current regional representative for the Northern Region of the Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants.
Other involvements of Ms. Sanfilippo include co-founder of Sanfilippo Construction and co-founder of Sanfilippo Recycling.
Ms. Sanfilippo also serves as an active member of the ACP Executive Committee.
